About:

Belfast based artist, Emily McEvoy is a second year masters student of photography at Ulster University. Her current practice focuses on capturing the essence of human connections, the depths of relationships, using the camera to explore identity, adulthood and independence. Born into a world where responsibilities and dependence were crucial to the family dynamic, she intends to further explore how this has shaped her own personality.  Driven by a desire to produce accessible photographs, she plans to further develop the tactile 'image' and experience for visually impaired individuals
